Hey giving all a Heads up for Manitowoc Area, Spoke to the Parks and Rec of Manitowoc and they want to put up a Policy for their Parks about Geocaching and have a Notification type thing going up..
I'm going to be helping out with that.. On the 2nd of April i'm going in front of the Manitowoc Parks and Rec Commitee to talk about Geocaching and CITO..
Anne, Bob and Jeff got a question for you, Would any of you be willing to go with me to the meeting so i'm not there by myself.. and maybe help me put something together to explain about Geocaching and CITO, i'm in contact with the assitant director, and hopefully be able to figure out exactly what i'm going in to speak about.. but i think its mostly going to be about Geocaching..
Thank you!! |

Which of the Assistants are you working with? I used to work for the Park and Rec as a Lifeguard several years ago and still know one or two of the folks in the office.
I will be able to go to the meeting with you. Keep me posted. |

I am still trying to make a Switch Linsey. I have a call out to the only co-worker who could possibly make the switch and have not heard from her yet. |

Shoot. I don't know Randy. Maybe I'll poke my nose in there again if I have a few minutes....
I would plan on printing out a handfull of those GeocacherU Brochures as a handout for the committee. Take some time to explain the basics of geocaching. Then just flaunt our policy we worked out with the DNR and push for a simple notification. I am planning on being there, so please just let me know what you would like me to do or where you need my help. |

Coastie
Randy should be okay to work with. If you need to run anything by someone, just email.
I am working with the Wisconsin Park & Recreation Association, Waukesha County Parks and Milwaukee County Parks right now too.
Good Luck!
