Just wondering if there was any interest in a Meet & Greet in Central WI? We would personally like to meet some of the other fellow cachers in the area. We also know that things are getting pretty busy so if anybody has any thoughts or opinions, they would be appreciated! |

If you run event, cachers are bound to show up. The only way to get us faster is to stand at the coordinates and yell Free Beer! (not a bad idea by the way ) We'd be almost sure to attend. We have to meet our new neighbors . |

This is something that we would be interested in attending as well, depending on when it is. |

We have been contacted by a fellow geocacher about having an event up here Eagle River) that will some how be affiliated with the Beer Fest.... but not sure how... or even when that is...
We are unsure of our schedule for the next few weeks so depends when it will be... we try to make anything we can within' 75 miles of us.

We love meet and greets, my problem is that hubby works a lot and we now have 3 young kids so it's hard for me to do them by myself and hiring a babysitter usually isn't an option.
Speaking of beer, when's the Point Brewery Fest thingy? |

Iverson Park has a lot of nice meet 'n' greet space. |

Looks like we will try and host the meet and greet and combine it with a quick CITO at Galecke park. If you have done "Elk Cage", "Sciurus Stash" and "Out on a Limb", you know the park could use a bit of help.
We are looking at Saturday May 5th with a late morning start time. We will try to provide some food (grilled hot dogs more than likely) and maybe something cold to drink. We are working with the parks dept. to see if they will help in any way.
We are also trying to put out some additional caches around the Plover/Point area to give everyone some additional hunting opportunities.
Sounds like Justin is bringing the fermented malt beverages. |

We have submitted an event for approval. It is set for May 5th at Iverson Park in Stevens Point WI. It is very close to the intersection of Interstate 39 and highway 10. We know it does not give everybody much time to plan, but we really wanted to try and put together a Meet & Greet so we could meet some fellow cachers and our weekend schedules are getting so booked we were afraid we would never get to it!
Here is the link for when it is published:

Hey cool! Right down the road! I'll be there [and probably Josh, too]. Let us know if you need any help, Bandits!
