Yep, another Thursday afterwork hunt, this time I called the place -they are not out of business like the last one.
Pizza at 6:00 at Armeli's Restaurant and Pizzeria 16201 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151 PH:(262) 786-6699
Afterwards we will be heading out for Glow in the Dark 2 (GCH1QB). While we are waiting for it to get dark, we can also attempt Snake Bite (GCJ3MM) and Venturing Adventure for Youth (GC1211J), based upon time available.
Armeli's suggests reservations, so please let me know by 8/28 so I can reserve a large enough table in advance.
Thanks

Count me in. Let's hope 'Snake Bite' is up and running. Looks like the previous logger DNF'ed it, but he/she is a newbie. |

We're thinking of going, but if you give yourself an hour to eat and then 15 minutes to drive to the park and get organized, that only gives you a half hour before sunset. I can tell you that, even if you find all the stages immediately (you won't!), you can't do Snake Bite in 1/2 hour. I would suggest that the 3rd and 5th stages would be very difficult to find after dark. My recommendation would be to find the Venturing cache and then drive over to the starting point for GITD2 (also the Snake Bite starting point) and go from there. |

As Greendale4x4 can verify, we are flexible with the agenda. Last time we picked the caches while at the eatery. I threw these out there as suggestions; to appear to be more organized. Our only goal is to just to get out, have pizza and chat with fellow cachers.
Greendale4x4, we will be glad to be caching with you again, abcdmCachers thinks he can make it too. |

Yup. Agenda is very flexible. I'll probably be out caching beforehand anyway.

I'll try and make an appearance as well. But unlike Uncle Fun, I'll show up once. |

Johnny, actually I work till 6 pm that day. So I will be a little late. Some of you know my cell #, so call if you leave to go caching before I get there. I have done most in the area but would love to tag along.

Just confirmed our reservations, so we are good to go. I even booked an extra chair for the phantom Uncle Fun that might show up and one for the one that will be late. Looking forward to seeing fellow cachers again and meeting new ones.
Thanks |

Couldn't locate this thread last night but hope that if you booked an extra place for the double Uncle Fun and one for the might be late Uncle fun we might still be able to attend (2 of us) We have found the listed caches and agree that Snake Bite might not be doable in the dark or within 1/2 hr. We will plan on attending unless we hear different |

We had a great time eating pizza and geochating. The on to Minoka park for several caches and more fun. Will need to schedule another one of these.

Just wanted to thank everyone who attended the informal pizza and cache outing. We had a great time meeting other cachers and hearing their stories and sharing many laughs. Even better yet, we now can put faces to all the screen names. I am happy to say it will definitely be a memorable meeting for us. To echo Uncle Fun's comment - we will have to do another one of these soon |

Ditto. Thanks for covering the tab. 3 Hawks will probably join us next time. I'm up for doing the Snake Bite and Egyptian Magician caches some weekend. |
