We do not currently check for permits in Milwaukee County Parks. I hope to never have to check, but that is probably wishful thinking.
That said, if you want to get on their good side, take the time to complete and submit a permit request for your caches. |

I just submitted a request for a cache site by e-mail. Hopefully it won't take too long to approve. I guess I will just have to wait and see. |

Ditto here. I'm still awaiting DNR approval for one I placed about 3 weeks ago. Considering where it is, I'd rather have the permission before just "placing it" and having TD approve it. I'm learning to be more patient. |

Couldn't you ask the person you submitted the form to? Seems like a long time...I'd be impatient too. |

The e-mail they supply goes to someone who just forwards it to the Land Manager - I don't know who that person is. I suppose I could just release it, since by the time people solve it (yeah, it's a Mystery Cache), I'll have the approval. Besides, there was a cache there before this one (oops, I said too much!).
I think I just heard 3 Hawks run out of the house looking for it. |

Jason, is that the puzzle cache I got the sneak peek at the grafix? I've been patiently awaiting that one as well. |

Solving puzzles, coords, cache descriptions......who needs 'em. Now I just have to figure out the identity of the archived cache of which you speak or I could just go to sleep and let Hugh Foundit have it. Hmmm? |

You found it on 12/30/06. I'll see what I can do. I was going to wait for a geocoin to arrive in the mail for the FTF'er... |

I think I remember you mentioning something about that when you dropped me a line once. maybe I'll just wait until the new cache posts this time. It would look rather odd for me to find the cache before it posts. Not that I haven't done it before. I've stumbled across at least 5 un-posted caches while hunting for other caches (darn puzzles) or scouting sections of woods and I've resorted to "letter-boxing" my way to a few puzzle cache finals based on cache descriptions and logs. Did I mention how frustrating puzzle caches can be to me due to my limited intellect. |
