The Mud Duck and I went and saw this tonight and it's great!! My wife, who does not care for Julia Styles, thought that this was one of her best movies. I see there is a new National Treasure movie coming out in the fall. Previews look good too! |

I saw it yesterday for free... got a pass at Best Buy when I bought a DVD pack containing the Bourne Identity and the Bourne Supremacy for only 14.99.
I enjoyed it as an well-made no-nonsense action movie. Surprisingly realistic for a movie that amounts to being one big chase scene. |

I'll confess to being a really hard judge of movies. We went and saw it last night. Where I would give the first two four stars out of four, the third would be three to three and a half. Something happened about 3/4 of the way through where tiny plot holes showed. But great action! Before Daniel Craig came along and saved the Bond series I would have called these the spiritual successor to Sean Connery's Bond. |

Speaking of Nat'l Treasure, I wonder if anyone will ever give me permission to replace a brick in their building with a carefully crafter geo-container. |

I actually found the videography of this film to be disconcerting. I know it was trying to keep up the pace and add tension, but the camera was swinging around so quickly, so often, that I often lost what it was they wanted me to see. Even in the fight scenes, I'm not sure if I ever actually saw a punch carried through all the way from extension to connection. |
