I tried to check it out at 10:42 p.m. but all I got was a blank screen with the words WGA Temp Chat at the top. |

I tried it agian at 2:25 a.m. and all seemed to work. Unless, the link I listed before is a couple of links "ahead" of the actual chat page. More specifically, next time try http://client.sigmachat.com/sc.pl?id=39081
Doesn't seem to be a ton of interest anyhow unless maybe we just come right out and say it's Mondays at 8:00 period. This would coincide with the "clayjar" chat thing as well like kbraband has shown interest in... |

I tried it again just now (7:40 a.m.), got the same result.

9:04 a.m. Read your message and tried it myself. Got a blank page now too!! I dunno' maybe it's not worth the effort. Or, the actual website hosting the chat pages is having some sort of trouble...
If anyone's reading these posts, give us a "yay" or "nay" on the live chat thing. In the end, it may not be worth the effort.
Nothing's saying that the clayjar thing couldn't work or our own channel on IRC?
What do you all think?

WGA also has a chat system on the website that the event planners and board has used on occasion. Nothing fancy... we had talked about a Wisconsin scheduled chat and opening the chat system to general usage, but there never seemed that much interest. |

I've gone to clayjar's chat room a few time and little of interest happens, which IMO is the same with most chat rooms. Unless there is a moderated topic, they just seem to be a free for all. But, I'm open to give a local one a try. The problem with chat rooms and the advantage of BBS's is the time shifting.
