Lee, it kind of depends on where you have in mind. For actual government buildings, like the parking garages, you really need to talk to the person running that particular operations. If you are talking about things like sidewalks, roadways, etc., you need to talk to the department of public works. Same for waterworks and sewage treatment facilities. I don't believe the city owns any parks other than maybe the festival grounds, and I believe that is county as well. And of course the schools are owned by the school district, not the city. What did I not think of? |

It would fall under sidewalks I think. A memorial walkway. So I guess that would be the DPW. Do you know any contacts there?
thanks

If it is a real sidewalk, (as opposed to some sort of park), you can try
Infrastructure Services Division
Room 701
Zeidler Municipal Building
841 N. Broadway
Milwaukee, WI 53202
Jeffrey S. Polenske,
City Engineer
Phone: (414) 286-2400
Fax: (414) 286-5994
If it is actually a park or a parking lot or garage, you can try:
Adminstrative Services
Room 501
Zeidler Municipal Building
841 N. Broadway
Milwaukee, WI 53202
Dorinda R. Floyd,
Administrative Services Director
Phone: (414) 286-3300
Fax: (414) 286-3953 |

Thanks for the info.
Interesting - I forgot the name of the walkway so I just did a Google search hoping to find it. The first link that came up was this page with my question on it out of 5,920. |
