Deleting finds

Most have under 400 finds (but not all). I do check how many finds the cacher has and see if they have found Earthcaches before as well as check the logs of any they have done to see if they logged those correctly. Then I contact them and explain how Earthcaches work if needed or remind them to send me more information or the photo...then only if they do not contact me or they refuse to send the information do I delete their find after a week or so.

Hey LB7.. are you finding that these are Newbees not e-mailing or putting photos on??? Or is it a combination of both??

That is more than fair, I think!! Even my good caching buddies give me grief and say, "Oh.. you probably MAKE me actually send the info. LOL Darn Tootin'!! Fair is fair. Besides....GOD forbid people actually LEARN something! ROFLMABO Laughing

I have had very good responses on my only EC (in Wausau). I did have one person log a find without emailing me recently. I waited a week to give the person time. I emailed them asking for answers. Waited another week - no response. I went to the cache page to delete their log and found it was gone! They must have deleted it themselves.

I have a couple of ideas for ideas for more EC's near me, but haven't gotten around to doing them. When I first did mine, it was the only EC within 50 miles. Since then Bandits created three new EC's near me that I still need to go out and do.

When I put out my first there were NONE, then someone beat me to having the very first. I am still trying to get Two Creeks Buried Forest reinstated, but the WDNR guy STILL has not responded and if he did I probably fell intp the tho9usands of spam mail I get and got deleted Sad

That is a very nice reminder....

Lately I have been getting a lot of people who claim that they cannot upload their pics to the GC site. When pressed they send them to me personally, at which time I post a note on the EC page stating that I received the pictures and that the requirements have been met.
