just thought i would introduce myself in here... coming from Yuma, AZ to Madison, but originally from northern wisconsin. i've only been caching for about 18 months (you can read how i started on my gc profile).
i have a quick question for those in the madison area... are there any places nearby to pick up a few ammo cans? would prefer to just get pick them up at a location as opposed to ordering them right now since i don't really have a permanent address quite yet.
thanks |

Welcome Back.
You could check the local Blaine's Farm and Fleet. 608.221.3851, 2202 South Stoughton Road. |

Welcome back. I hope you're not the one to blame for all of the rain. |

If you find a local Madison supply for ammo cans I'd love to learn where. I haven't had any luck in any area stores, but did get some from WGA member, Wooden_Nickle, who's in Verona. You can check with him - he might have some left. Good luck in your search. |

Hi, I have seen them at Fleet & Farm in Beaver Dam and a Hobby/Model store by East town mall on Thierer road, I think it was called Toy Box? |

We picked up a couple last summer at Delaney's Surplus between sauk city and baraboo for $5. But it is hit and miss there, never know what they will have. While you are there make sure you do the cache that is hidden there and see all the neat creations there. |

OK, So here's the deal. Next time I get up to Mellen I will arrange for a Pallet of them to be dropped of for me to spend the day placing as I only brought 2 up last weekend but found many more places to put some really nice caches.
Thanks PW and HC for helping maintain them. |
