Welcome!
Well I have found over 1,000 with my Garmin GPSMap60Cx and I don't know if I ever lost signal....my old Garmin Vista lost signal all the time. If you are going to spend the money get a unit that will "autoroute" and buy the detailed maps..... |
Thanks I will give it a shot : ) |

Skunk -- greyhound. Pretty much the same. Both can be stinky...
I'm not too far from Madison myself, so perhaps we'll meet up sometime!

Skunk? Cool.
Here is a picture of a GPS that never looses a signal. Not many bells and whistles but it will get ya there.

Welcome to the sport! I am also pretty new. I have a Garmin E-trex legend too. Bought new, used only a few times, and had a vertical line issue. Went to a forum, looked up technology issues, and found the solution. If you have 3.70 software version instead of the 3.90, you will need to download the 3.90. Here is the link:
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/store/downloads...145&pID=173
Select Download
Takes only a few minutes and have had no troubles since. The E-Trex Legend is the only kind I have ever used, it is a basic model, and since I am new to the game, poor, and technologically challenged, it works for now. |
