Hello, all!
My mom (idajo2 on geocaching.com) has been an avid cacher for years and finally managed to get me started when we drove from Orange County to San Francisco about a month and a half ago. I have to admit I enjoyed it more than I thought I would except for the bits where I'd look around for 5-10 minutes then she'd get out of the car and walk right up to the cache.
I just ordered my GPSMAP 60CSx (I used mom's and was totally spoiled for anything else) and am looking forward to getting out there and doing some finding. I don't drive, so if anyone in the Madison area is looking to cache with someone, I live on the east side (but know the west side fairly well, too -- I never have understood the east/west divide, it's not like we're a major metropolis...) and I'm eager to find partners for the less bus-accessible stuff and would be happy to chip in on gas.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of you! |

let me know on any days you have available... i'm willing to drive, and still have plenty of caches to find in the area.
most of my days are pretty open during the week, so whatever works best for you. |

Hello and welcome!! If you can get a ride, come to our annual picnic on September 13 at Lapham Peak. We'd love to have you!

Thanks for the invite!
Unfortunately, I have a Scrabble tournament in Black River Falls that weekend. |
