Madison's Isthmus Newspaper has a really positive article about Geocaching this week (June 13 issue). I took the recreational editor and his wife out to some 5 sites a few weeks ago.

The paper name reminds me of the Picnic Point cache. I'm looking forward to seeing it. |

Capitol Times is the only Madison paper I have been able to find here. I checked Broders, and Barnes & Noble without any luck. Has anyone else been able to come up with a copy? Cashew might you be able to find a link or electronic copy to post here? |

Cachew, do you have an extra copy you could send me? We could create our own on-line version.
On a related note, I'm being interviewed today by our local paper, the News Graphic, for a story about geocaching. They received a news release about the geocaching class at UWM and decided to look into it further. I suggested such a story to them 2 years ago but they weren't interested at that time. |

We have a copy of it and I agree that it is a great article! The Isthumus a free newspaper here in Madison, so we can go pick up a load of them. If you are interested, just email us and we can send you one. It hasn't been posted electronically yet or we would send you the link. Way to go Cachew! We look forward to meeting you at the Mad City event later this month!

I've emailed the paper and asked for photocopying privileges. This should cover PDFing and other facsimilies.
If successful I'll bring a bunch of copies to the Mad City Cachers Meeting on June 24th.

Thanks John. My brother gave me a copy of the article from Isthmus. Very Good. Don't know if I'll be able to make it Saturday, but hoping to see you tomorrow night at the Madcachers II. |
