Hi -- I just went to the "cache of the month" page to nominate a terrific one I just visited and the form is gone.
Have I missed something that has changed? |

There seems to be a problem with that web page. Hopefully CacheCows will get it fixed as soon as they get a chance. |

Cache Cows advised me they were having some problems with the Cache Of The Month polling program. The program has some glitches that keep popping up and locking up the polling process. They are working on writing some new language for the COTM program, but are very busy with the holidays and it may take some time. Alan said it is takes a many hours to clear up the problems when they occur.
Hopefully we can get it back in operation in time for a December vote, and a Cache of the Year vote. |

I wasn't complaining, just wondering -- I just thought I had missed something that had changed on the site.
The cache of the month is a wonderful feature. I have been trying and trying to have our webmaster in MN get the same type of thing added to our site.
Happy Holidays |

I just voted and the Internet equivalent of smoke seemed to rise from the the inner workings: server errors. |

It keeps breaking, and won't stop untill Arlene has time to re-write it for me in the programming language she uses. My programming language has a defect that causes the voting system to crash on certain combinations of cache names. I can get it up again (as it is now), just to watch it die the next time someone votes. Its been this way since I first wrote it.
Arlene has been too busy to get the new voting system finished for me, she is over half done. Guess we'll just have to keep limping along till she has some time to spend on it. |
