OK, cheeto, you have V.
Spots are still available. Will have to arrange to go out with you to plant yours, so it does not interfere with any of the others. |

Just realized I did not put a coords checker on my puzzle.
Thinking it over, I do not think it is necessary.
The questions being asked on the SOs should be relatively easy. and perhaps it's time to ween the area cachers off of the need for a checker. |

Just make sure Marc, you have ALL the coords for ALL the caches! Don't want to put one literally on top of another. |

I dunno. I don't see a downside to the checker at all. It's good to know you're going to the right spot, lest you solve a puzzle, oh let's say some Dr. Who themed one, only to find that you had a few numbers wrong due to differences in interpretation.

After seeing some DNFs on this series already (who knew Wikipedia doesn't always have the right answers?) I really think the checker link is a good idea. On all puzzles. Simply saves time and gas. That's my 2 cents, anyway. |

I have had more than one of my puzzle caches in the past fouled by differing sources of information. In some cases it's hard to pinpoint which one is wrong if your not super-knowledgable on a particular subject...
Also, please note that Wikipedia also CHANGES OVER TIME! So your prescious source of data today, might be completely different tomorrow. I have seen a whole section dissapear that seldom|seen used as the basis for his captain america cache. There is a way to post a link to a specific point in time version of the Wikipedia article and you might want to look into that if you are using Wiki for your reference for any of these caches... I can help if you need help.
I know it makes for a easier cache, but sometimes it's just best to post your reference links on the cache page rather than dealing with differing reference sources and cranky puzzle solvers
Now if I could only find a couple hours to get up there... Marc, please let me know when you might be able to head up there to get another one in the field... Send me an email of some possible times and I will try to make one work on my end. I work Mon - Fri 8 - 5:30 for your FYI. |

In case you didn't know, most of wikipedia is not secure, meaning that any person can go in and "change the facts" to their version. You don't even need to give an email address to get an account. Of course, usually someone is watching the page and will change the facts back to "correct". I wouldn't count on it though. |

Although anyone can change entries in Wikipedia, there is a slight barrier to doing so.
You have to be logged in with them for two weeks before making any entries or changes. That seems to keep the problems down. Also, they have a good team of observers, and so not much gets by them, or for long.
Although it is not necessarily spell or info checked, it is fairly reliable. After all, it is just an online book. and books can be loaded with similar problems. |

mine's done... we'll see how it fairs with it's review!
thanks marc for the inspiration. I enjoyed finding 3 of these today while out there. Too bad I couldn't crack the Star Wars one yet.... never would have guessed I would struggle with that one!

There is still room for more Space Operas.
You do not have to live in the immediate area to place one of these caches. A local cacher can serve as your support person, if need be. |

Hey Marc,
If you send me the coords for one I could work up a SO:Red Dwarf but I would need a trailboss too. |

Wow... Cheeto's having fun solving mine too?! One other person emailed me... I didn't think it was that hard. I'm open to feedback - I'll try and adjust it down to a 3 if its too hard.... Maybe
Please email me with questions and feedback if Star Wars is too rough... Marc wanted this series kept 'simple' |

Sorry about the delay in getting mine going. I had planned to finish and submit it this weekend, but I was in an accident Friday which kinda made me put things off. I'm hoping I can finish it up today and submit it for approval. I'll post again when it's ready. |
