You are correct, Marc. Since I didn't do the surveying, all I can say is that it's not my fault. Fixed soon.
SandLand may be added at some point in time, but I have no idea where it is. |

Adams County is known as Sand County, but we welcome everyone, including people from Sellzup (-cheeto-), who have placed many caches in the northwest part of the county, which is part of VacationWorld along the lakes. We share the area with SadowskiFamily, and historically, this is Lil Otter territory. Many others inhabit the area, with sloughfoot and bugsmasher69 to the south and nala beans to the west. Farther west is Shrek and Fiona's swamp, and then the Trekkin' and Birdin' hill country.
BTW, on the new map the label for Winneconne obliterates the home of the Captain of the Guard for Sellzup, who seems to have his own little fiefdom on the (wild) side. |

Heck, according to these maps, the Swamp of Shrek and Fiona and our hill country don't even exist. Kind of like that famous New Yorker magazine cover...... |

Since not all borders and names are currently known, not all kingdoms and fiefdoms have been included at this time. |

If Sandland is based on geology, you have it right. However, Sandlandersland is a bit smaller, with borders of: the river/lakes to the west, say Highway 21 or Highway C to the north, the county line to the east and Highway 82 to the south. Adams-Friendship is pretty much in the center. And with Friendship as part of this area, I will re-emphasize that we are FRIENDLY cachers, and no guards are posted.
And we thank -cheeto- for his lack of puzzle placements here, but we still have yet to try all of his "Fav" fishing spots. |

Oh, and make that corridor along both sides of Highway 51 "The Petrified Forest" for the SadowskiFamily (although they have many other great caches besides their famous "trees"). Let's make the rest of Waushara County the Fiefdom or "Wild Side"' (chime in here on preferences, Labrat).
Honeybunnies and Bandits and others need to fill in Plover and Point, and the Rapids area has many cachers and contributors there with no real "theme". Then we need to get maps of other parts of the state for those people to stake their claims. Lots of earthcaches in the Milwaukee area . . .
Is this how our legislators do the redistricting every ten years? |

When the "Up Nort" map is drawn, there will be center point for the TEs, then a 50-mile-radius circle around that point with nothing in it! |

Would I need to resign from the court of Selzzup to stake claim to the "Wild"erness? |

Traitors will be punished by any or all of the following:
- Pelting of expired eggs
- Duct taped to a pine tree 10 feet off the ground.
- Tied to a chair and forced to watch 24 hours of Disney channel's finest tween shows. Then play some high school musical cd's for the next 24 hours for good measure.
- Forced to clean marc's place
- Random text message and phone calls at all hours from mysterious "women".
- Forced to eat pizza flavored combo's and wash them down with grape crush.
- Taken to the fox river mall on Black Friday and hiding your vehicle "somewhere" in the parking lot. Nope, you don't get any hints or coords..
- Did I mention doing marc's laundry?
Any others from the rest of the court? |

Not to worry TE's, our snow shoes are all set and we are ready for some more snomocaching so let it snow, let it snow. (See GC19YQ6)
We may have to set out some more caches for you to find within your 50 mile zone.
Any news on the 2008/2009 Great Northwoods Treasure Hunt?

Not to worry, Sandlanders. Every kingdom I've been in so far has been very friendly. I don't think there are too many border disputes as much as friendly rivalries. (Other than that little deal with treason or whatever in Sellzup. Duct taped to a tree. Ha!)
Petrified Forest and the as yet unnamed territories "nort of 29" will be added soon. Lots of land left uncharted... |
