I will be taking a road trip to Minnepolis from Waukesha for the Packers game. On the way up when I reach the Dells I am going to head west to Reedsburg, then LaCrosse, then up to Minneapolis along the Mississippi river.
If anyone has recommended caches along that route please share. Image

We have a handful of easy caches in the Dells. Good chance to get out and stretch your legs. We normally go up to Minnesota staying on 94 and we've hit alot of caches not too far off the beaten path in: Tomah, Black River Falls, Eau Claire, Menomoinee, and St Paul. Tami

We have to agree with Major Brat. Dr Evermore is one of our all time favorite caches. It is the only one we have returned to 5 times, each time taking someone else along to share the fun!

Looks like RangerBoy already found this cache: Dr.Evermore & Lady Eleanor
by Hotdogs Off Trail, on November 3, 2003.

I agree this is a wonderful geocache. Much of its appeal is in the surprise of the location. I just looked at the cache page for the first time in quite awhile and I'm disappointed that one geocacher chose to post so many photos of the place.

Oh my gosh! I after reading kbraband's post, I went back and looked at the log page.I sure would not have wanted to see all those photos before finding the place by myself.
Do you think the cache owner should take photos off? Especially the ones of the cache location....signing the log, etc. Just my opinion, but I think posting all of these photos really really takes away from the magic of finding this wonderful cache location by yourself.
Most likely the cacher who posted so many photos did so with good intentions, but I would hope he/she would agree, in retrospect that they really ruin some of the fun.

I don't feel it is necessary to remove anyone's pictures from the cache logs, as I feel they are part of the logs and tend to increase the interest of most that view them first. Just as at Devil's Lake, there are many great hiding areas at the good Dr. Evermore's cache friendly environment. No one has complained about it being too easy.

And a shamless plug of another of our caches, is the Hemlock Cache in a beautiful little county park a little north of Reedsburg, just off Hwy 33 on the way to LAX. Take time for a picnic lunch.

Sounds like this one (Dr.Evermore&Lady Eleanor) is worthy of Cache Of The Month?

So is Hemlock Cache IMHO, but then again it was just one of those perfect moments for me. Neither stand much chance against Lateral Thinking this month.
