I don't have one at the moment but I think an I pod touch is in my near future. Gizfinder has shown me a couple of applications for caching with this. Does anybody know where I can find them? |

I got an Ipod nano just for paperless. I use cache magnet which works great, but there are a few thing I wish you could do with it. What other programs are there? |

Hemi - congrats! Google ipod and geocaching, lots of pages, some not updated but one that came up was:
http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=180756
I did try one of the methods I saw on the google search, it used the mac's address book(hemi, you should get a mac too) to put the caches onto the ipod's contact list. It worked, a little clunky but it worked everytime.
If you don't have it on your pc yet, download itunes and peruse the itunes store for the apps. Geocaching.com does have app there:

Theres a number of other gps apps too, didn't look at them all but its a start. If I kept up with my programming....anyone want to bug clyde at gsak enough to port his code? |

Yup!Cache Magnet
It's a pretty good program too. The only thing bad thing I can say about it is you can't add caches to it once you run a PQ. It deletes what previous caches you had loaded. What also is nice about it is will also down load to your Garmin and has a pretty nice map feature and will also print up a sheet with all caches that you have down load if you want a hard copy.
Just got a very speedy reply from Brain, who made Cache Magnet.
I asked him how to add multi pq's. load the 1st pg and then import any other onesnand then down load it to your nano and gpsr |
