I am going to be in Eau Claire on Tuesday. Are there any "don't miss" caches in the area? Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks! |

One of my favorites is Irvine Climb in Chippewa Falls, or if you have more time, One Brick at a Time or lastly, White Pine Twilight Zone. |

Once again I had a great time caching in WI!!! I started at "52-Pickup - WWF #09 (Hamilton Falls)" and ended at Chippewa Falls. I found about 25 caches.
I have the opportunity to cache all over the country because of my business travels and I believe WI is one of the best states I have ever cached. You are very lucky.
I left an AJAYHAWKFAN geocoin in one of the cache I visited. If the person who gets it collects coins he can keep it but I would like to see it travel.

Hi Eddie,
I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we are pretty proud of the caching in our state and we're glad you had a great experience! Hope you can come back soon.
Whoever finds your coin will be very lucky - it's a great looking geocoin (I know I like mine).

I am disappointed to report one of the 2 coins I left in the Eau Claire area has disappeared already. Why take a coin and not log it? I don't even mind of someone keeps the coin as long as it is logged?
Will an honest cacher please grab the other coin I placed?
I also placed on in Southern MN on my way back to KC and it was stolen as well.
I have never sold a coin. I made them to be placed in caches. Maybe I should rethink that.

We are headed that way tomorrow morning. We had planned on leaving this morning, but my father, being the wonderful guy he is, decided to share the 24 hour flu with me.
I'll see if I can snag it for ya. |

If decrepit doesn't get to it, I'll try to swing by there when I'm relatively nearby this Sunday. |

Sorry, I just couldn't find it. I followed the hint and did what it said, but still could not locate it. If there was another white log over the edge of the drop off, I did not go down to check. As always, when caching on my own, I play it safe and make sure I can get back to the car. |

I was there earlier this year and know where the cache was then. I will check it out in the morning. I will be going caching anyway - I want to be able to hit 500 found on my 6 month "anniversary" of geocaching. I will let you know one way or the other tomorrow. |

Good news. I achieved success on two accounts. I found the AJAYHAWKFAN coin, traded it for a coin of mine, logged it and will be placing it in an other cache soon. I also did find the 14 caches I needed to hit 500 caches on my 6 month anniversary of geocaching, even though I was out until 11pm to do it! Thanks for placing the coin here! It is a great coin, I enjoyed looking at it and will enjoy sharing it with other geocachers. You should see a lot more coins out in caches in Eau Claire county real soon! |
