I know we don't have a lot of finds, but this cache still really stands out for us. It's taken us 3 or 4 trips to Menominee Park in Oshkosh to win the Duplicate Bridge Tournament and each time has been a blast chasing down the stages of this challenging multi.

There are no difficult hikes and there are no breathtaking views here (unless you like sitting on the edge of the water staring out over Lake Winnebago). Instead, it's about the challenge. The puzzles are difficult to start with, yet solvable, and once you get used to the theme, you should find the going easier. This is NOT your average run-of-the-mill crypto puzzle or the standard "look at this date and subtract xxx" type of "puzzle". You will find yourself using your GPSr in ways that it is capable of, but that you've probably seldom|used before.

All in all, a very satisfying find and we ended up feeling pretty good that we found a 4.5 star difficulty w/in our first 30 or so (okay, I think it was #31 for us) caches. If you're caching in the Oshkosh area, don't miss the chance to at least get started on this great multi.

I will HIGHLY second this one. In fact, I nominated for cache of the month this month already....

And I did this one in my first 50 finds so you have some company:)

And it took 3 trips and a few emails to get the first part figured out too! It's a LOT easier after you figure out how INSANELY detailed the clues are for this puzzler...Smile

Unfortunately, this cache has been disabled now for awhile. I missed out on finding this one, so hopefully, one day it is restored.

We checked on the final about 2 weeks ago, and it is still there. The park people did some construction that changed two of the WPs. Hopefully Alex will get them up again! It is a challenging hide!

I think about this one EVERY DAY and how negligent I have been on it. I have a run planned to the hometown where a few others are disabled and need attention and I am hoping to fix this one up during the fist leg of that maint. run. I REALLY do not like my caches being down for so long, and even after a couple weeks, unless it's due to road construction, I start to get really antsy. This one has been done far longer than I would ever car to admit, but it isn't going to be a simple replace and needs significant re-thinking to make it work again. I pray I have enough time to do just that.

Hmmm, you know I never though to enable it without the waypoints since there is an alternate solve, but unfortunately it isn't a puzzle. At least is appears that I only have 2 WP's to replace and that I may only have to re-tool one card and hide.

Well, Alex, you could stop thinking up new puzzles to torment us with. Then you should have plenty of free time!

I did this multi stage with Wheezer and PaprDoll some years ago. We found the first stage, and began scratching our heads over what we were looking at.

A PAF got us started, but then we stuck on WP2. Could not find it.

While trying to figure it out, I decided to look in the area for the Waypoint. A few moments searching, and I discovered the final! What a fluke!

Still a fascinating multi, and the concept is original to say the least.
