There was all te hubbub about the new logo, yet the wiki link STILL as the old logo. If the new logo is what the final choice, it should be used correct? I have been waiting to put it on my new cache pages. Is there any why when the change is made to reto fit it on the old cache pages? |

We have used this code that was previously in the forums to put the new logo on our new cache pages. We left the old cache pages alone for whenever the "switcheroo" happens automatically. Maybe something will be decided at the meeting at the campout Saturday.
Anyway, Cheezehead, that giant chunk of cheese image is all that you need on your cache pages.

I actually went through and recoded all of my active caches awhile ago so to those WGA webmasters reading this, please do not get rid of and/or move the current (new) logo file (the one in the upper right) so as to not break my cache pages
I don't mind that you "fix" the image specified in the provided html but since I went through and modified the image location and name to pull the current one I am not using it anymore.. |

After all this time of asking when is the new logo going to be put in place of the old and this automatic update is going to occur it still isnt done. Which leads me to wonder if I shouldn't start marking all my caches pages with the logo of another states geocaching association that I belong to.
Funny thing is they were not to happy to see our logo on my earthcache placed in there state, so I wonder what the reaction would be to all my Wisconsin caches reading "Proudly placed by a member of the Utah Geocaching Association" and of course add the logo?
Opinion is that of Mr only |

After all the fighting and bickering about this logo thing, again, it seems like no one can make a decision on when the switch is going to happen, Why is this taking so long to get rid of the old logo, and just have the new? and for the cache pages is the change going to be automatic, or will we have to physically change each page, I know I was one of the big supporters of the old logo, but how many companies/organizations have two logos? Some one needs to get working on this, First I figured it was the campout that was taking priority, next it will be cache bash, then.........what will be the next excuse? |

News to me too. LOL.
Seriously, Jeremy is working on revising the web design of the WGA site, so it is coming. I suppose we could ask him to call in sick a few days to get it done, but I suppose his creditors would not appreciate that.
Truthfully, it is hard for all of us to get done all the things we want to get done, despite the best of intentions. I guess we will have to be a tad patient on this, but it will be coming.

Then maybe they should have rolled out the logo when they were ready to make the change |

But couldn't he make that change first? So the link on our cache pages would display the new logo. |

The "they" you are speaking of, is one person.
That one person has a real full time job that has recently become very demanding.
Please have patience. Instead of dwelling on it, go out and find a few geocaches. |

I do think there are more important things to worry about, like weather Hawaii is gonna get blown away, or if the nut jobz in Iran feels like it might want to push a button or who will get the #1 pick in FF. That and it was the old board( and I don't mean nothing against the former members, just stating a fact.
Just think if the reviewers HAD to both take a week or 2 off, and there was no one to replace them!
With out the "They", there would be no "This".
Besides. the old one is better anyhow! |

Kind of like the digital conversion. Heard about it forever, but it was a long time in coming. Lots of things to iron out. At least we shouldn't have to get a converter box! |

FYI the they I spoke of was the board, last count more than 1 person. And I'm out caching every weekend for usually 25 finds more per weekend |

How exactly is this new logo change going to affect your life? Give him a break as he does have a real jod that must take priority. |
