Gotta Run of course, with a mind numbing 296 lonely caches!
(unless there are a few yet to report)
Congratulations on the achievement! |

Thanks all. It's been a fun year exploring some remote places and solving some gnarly puzzles. For us the fun of the game is finding things that haven't seen the light of day for a while, in some cases for over two years, and to work on "clearing the map." The adventure meant more than any score--although I will admit it is fun to rack up numbers and there were times I wouldn't have minded having the extra "minor maintenance" points of the 2008 season.
It will be interesting to see how many of the single-season marks set in 2009 get smashed in 2010, and by whom. With unfound lonelies getting farther and farther from our home base--something Dave and Alex can surely appreciate as well--and with our personal penchant for logging no revisit points, I'm pretty sure that we are one-year wonders.
So......................who's next? |

Congratulations. That is a lot of Lonely Caches.
Maybe you want to share a few stories of your favorite adventures in seeking Lonelies?

Congratulations, Gotta Run, on your most impressive achievement! And for showing many of us a great model on how to play the game, for the benefit of the sport. |

Sure. I'll start a thread (or someone else can) on its own topic when I have a chance to put some thoughts together so everyone who played can share some thoughts. |

Kudo's to the accomplishment. I've watched your numbers since I started caching in July and have wondered "How do they do it?" I still don't exactly know, but it had to be fun considering the excitement I get finding a lonely still in tact after many months. |

You got that right! But that's as it should be, provides more encourgement to new players...especially those with a penchant for solving puzzles in the Appleton area... |

I know you thought the purple pushpins were Tinky Winky tribute caches, but they're actually puzzles. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. |
