Thanks to both Jim and Linda for orginizing this get together and the march to GZ. The hot chocolate and marshmallows sure were a treat after the hike to the caches. These informal gatherings are sure fun. Thanks again. |

Boy, sounds like a great time was had by all. Wish life wouldn't have thrown us this curve ball so we could have joined everyone. Thanks to Jim for organizing this, even if we had to miss it while Dick was slipping and sliding off our roof this morning. |

Thanks Jim (and Linda) for the hot cocoa and most importantly for posting the outing on the forums. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting all that participated. I was very glad it was "the easiest" trek out (per Jim). I could not imagine doing that cache in other seasons! A great day!
Bakrdz - keep "Lincoln" safe for me. I've grown fond of "him" already. |

Thanks everyone for making my wife, Patti, feel like one of the crew.
We came out to snowshoe, and even though, the trail was broken and only she, me and BakRdz used our snowshoes, we did just that - snowshoed. Mission accomplished.
looking forward to the next group outing... where will that one be???? |

Thanks to Jim and Linda for setting up today's outing and for the hot chocolate after. We enjoyed the hike, the area, and getting to see folks we knew as well as meeting some we hadn't met before. |

Great day for a group hike! It was nice to be able to get this cache in almost optimal conditions. I enjoyed seeing familiar faces and meeting cachers I had not met before. Thanks JimandLinda for organizing this and opening up the invite to all. |

Ya know, what way do did those last finders go? The foot prints I saw went north, away from the cache! |

Congrats all. I had to make firewood with the father in law, which was probably more fun anyway. |

Even though I did not make the hike - been there before - I enjoyed the meet and greet in the parking lot!
Thanks, J & L. |

We wondered if they approached from the same spot but followed their arrow and it was bouncing and they circled around the island or something. But yeah that was weird.
Something related to this was when zoesbro and I hunted a nearby cemetery cache later and there were no footprints in the snow to or from the cemetery but there were people footprints going down a hill between some of the stones and our "ground zero". Very interesting... |

Not so weird really... I needed to pee. Looked around a bit too. I went back on the most major deer route I could find. It worked out well. |
