we just joined today and we are new to geocacheing. we are both wisconsin lifers and live near lake thomhawk. our address is harshaw,wi. but hardley anyone knows where that is. being retired, we now spend our winters in brownsville, texas. that is where we started geocacheing this winter, we have a garmin 60Csx. we found our first cache while surf fishing, now we are hooked. we can't wait to get home and hit the bearskin trail, which we walk almost every day. so hope to see you out on the trail.

Welcome – isn’t it great being retired! You are correct I didn’t know where Harshaw was, but now I do! The Bearskin State Trail looks great…

Harshaw is in Oneida County.
The community was named after a worker who was killed at a local sawmill
The latitude of Harshaw is 45.665N. The longitude is -89.655W. |

Welcome! We hope to meet you on the trail or give us a hollar if you get over to Eagle River. The bearskin is a great trail for biking, hiking and caching.
