Hi. I go by the caching name BigJim60, although I sign my logs just "BigJim". I've been caching since November 2009, and joined WGA shortly after that, but haven't visited the forums until today. I met a couple cachers this morning, Mr. Team Black Cat and Rsplash, and they walked along with me as we found a total of 9 caches, including 4 new caches and a FTF. Somewhere along the trail we got to talking about WGA and the forums, so I came to check it out. Thanks for all your help this morning and for answering all my dumb questions.

Hmmm.... I must have missed the "dumb" questions. Smile
Welcome to the WGA and the forums. Just don't listen to anything Sandlanders says.

Welcome to the fun! People here are helpful, so even a dumb question isn't so dumb--others may be wondering too. Visit regularly for ideas on upcoming events or suggestions on great caches...lots of conversation to build up the geonetwork. Cache on! Smile

Welcome to another of life's great adventures:D If there's one truth to be shared with you, there's no such thing as "dumb questions" when it comes to geocaching. Ask away but be prepared for some "dumb answers" sometimes Very Happy It sounds like you had a couple of good mentors to get you started though.

And if you haven't discovered by now, take everything TBC says with a grain of salt!

But welcome to the posting. We see your name on lots of cache logs in the Rapids area.

Hello...I think we've signed a few logs just after you visited those caches lately. And of course, there are no dumb questions....except the ones *I* ask about technology on a regular basis! And they still put up with me around here in spite of those! wink

Welcome BigJim, I am sure you can tell already that the forums group users like to poke and rib eachother on a nearly constant basis.

Its even better when you get to meet them face to face like you were able to with Brian and Mike.

catch ya on the trails...
