Hi everyone, our family just started enjoying geocaching and I figured I'd stop by and introduce myself. Name is August, live in Madison and cache with my wife (nhopp22) and sons Liam and Luke.
Hope to see you all on the trails! |

Geocaching can be family-friendly when you consider location, terrain, and your children's schedules, personalities, and interest level. The bigger events are also making the effort to include activities for all ages. Some older children even hide caches. It's nice to get the whole family involved. Have fun caching! |

Thanks everyone for the welcome.
@rcflyer - I may take you up on that at some point. I'm over by Verona, so once I cache my way across the city...
@Scrappy Scout - we are hoping to make it to West Bend for the Cache Bash since it falls over my birthday weekend. Would love to hit caches out that way as we lived in Waukesha for almost 10 years. |

HA funny thing is that is my birthday weekend also my birthday is the 12th and this is my b-day present form the wife to go to this and maybe get some coins or other things from the event. When is your b-day? it would be hilarious if it was on the 12th also.

I'm the 15th, but I was pretty excited when I saw that there was a Mega Event close by and it fell over my birthday. |
