After a horrible August for me in the LCG I'm anxiously awaiting the new list for Sept / Oct. With a long weekend coming up I'm hoping to snag a few points.
And no I'm not complaining, but I am like a kid waiting for the candy store to open. |

I hear what you're saying CJ.
I was definitely getting tired of that Jul/Aug list. |

Well, stop using the old list then. I should have it ready in a day or so. The cutoff date looks like it will be March 22, 2010. |

OK, the Bookmark and map are up. Due to the change in webmasters, it might be a bit before the reporting list is up to date. Just hang on and post your reports once the new list is ready. |

This should be an interesting month with lots of caches in the Fox Valley / Green Bay areas. |

I feel like there are a couple little dudes on my shoulders. One saying "don't do it, don't look, you got so much other stuff to deal with right now... " And the other little guy is saying, "take a look, what will it hurt?"... "but the weather and the tall grass and the insects... just wait another couple months..." "but there's some good ones this cycle, you should really just take a day and grab some, c'mon..."
Ahhhhhhhaaaaallllllrrrright I will... |

GC11XPR Sagasu's spectacular sunflower should not be on the LCG list.
it was found in May and Aug. |

I noticed that too, but I think it has to do with the way the GPX files download. There was 1 DNF and a number of notes in the last 5 entries, so the "Last Found" shows up as a <blank>. The last "Found It" is entry #7 and not included in the GPX file.
The only way around this would be to either exclude these completely or manually check each one which wouldn't be easy. This cycle alone has 74 entries with a blank "Last Found" date. |

I thought it was just in the list as a tribute. |

Could be it's the "no geotrail present" criteria that got it in, or the photo of Sandlanders making the find? Sure looks like a lonely spot there. |

Methinks you're right on that since there are other ones on the list that don't "belong" there but the last few logs have not been "found it."
So let's all just consider it a bonus! |

There are quite a few in your neighborhood that you don't "own", Cheezehead, and I'm sure that you would have no trouble finding them. The big points on those could get you a lead for the whole month that no one would catch. |
