Found another one of these beauties listed. This one is an actual auction though.

Neither of the coins I posted about were mine. I just get bored and frequently search eBay to see how many pop up for sale. Didn't mean to mislead anybody. Just figured I'd point interested parties in the right direction Smile

I didn't intend to sound bitter in any way, In fact I am exstatic that I got the first one! And the price was a good one.
I meant that I wish a good price on whomever picks up the second coin. These are WGA history and I am grateful that you posted these!

But the way you phrased it made it sound like I was selling the coins. I just didn't want any potential buyers to be misled into a false sense of security thinking it was somebody in the WGA selling the coin.
I hope the seller does well too. These are beautiful coins, wish I had enough extra cash to pick one up for myself. Hopefully some day I can Very Happy

Just took a looky-see at the geocoins that seller has up, and wondered, ummmm, how does one end up with a collection of coins such as that, for sale. A collector? Meaning, does one buy coins from various states as they are issued, or go to "MegaEvents" and buy/sell/swap? Or other?

I had bought most all of mine as they were issued. There were a few that I had traded for (having bought multiples of some for trade)
I don't know the seller. But when I bought my 2005 WI coins, I think I bought at least a dozen. Many collectors didn't get in on that purchase, so they would offer ones they did get in trade.

If you look back a couple posts you can see that I'm selling off my collection in bundles. I had even had some of those 2005 WI coins in the bundles, and many others from that time frame that are hard to find now.

Look at my trading page (linked from my web page) to see the kind of collection many developed. And I hadn't bought or traded a coin in the last couple years.
