I'm headed to the Porcupine Mountains the end of this month, are there any must do caches in the area? |

Porcupine Mountains area in Michigan is kinda void of caches.
There is the must do GCJZ43 Lake of the Clouds Virtual Cache (No visit of the porkies is complete with out seeing lake of the clouds)
Have not done the earth cache there, but have climbed summit peak where it is located GC1FMPE Summit Peak Earthcache
Another Great Hike in the area is Wolf Mountain Cache GCFDE8 2nd Highest point in the UP of Michigan
Depending on your driving route and time you have these are two of my favorite multi's
GCR6Z4 Norwich View
GCQX36 Mines of the Times
And for good measure, had to throw one of our own caches in the mix
GC28CFD What a View (Bring your water bottle and fill it up at the spring before of after your climb to this one)
If you happen to need a phone a friend during your trip, we have found most of the caches in the area 7158500364
Have a great time in the UP

There are some letterboxes. Take the time to do the one at "Nonesuch" a ghost town, several of the mining building ruins are there.

Would have been nice, but plans changed over this past weekend. Heading to Door county. Again. Well. at least I don't have to make the 7.5 hour drive. |

Had a great time backpackin in the park. Went 15 miles over 4 days, I got the one virtual cache at lake of the clouds before we headed out.
I even hiked some water back for the "we come from the water" Laughing waters cache in Menasha
Leaves were beautiful.
