I'm new. Ha ha. For as many sites I have ever been on...I have never just stopped in and said Hi. so...HI
Im Branden. I like long walks in the park, beautiful strolls at night and ... wait! That sounds for a personal ad. Well so be it. I like walks, the outdoors and night (but only with my headlamp on). With that in mind, it seems my match would be geocaching and night caches! Good thing i found them, then re found it years later, then re found it again.
Im from Eau Claire.
Well that is all I ha *click*

Welcome aboard. I saw a new "name" while approving the lonely cache submissions and now I know why it seemed new. |

Hey, me too, from Eau Claire. Hey, what's your favorite park to stroll through? I like to bike the downtown trails, and on the northeast side, along 312. |

I like anything interesting...Like off the beaten path places. Usually along rivers and alike. Just got interested in Lowes Creek Park. Went out there with my bike to find some caches at 4am a few days ago. My brain must not have been working because I did not notice the trails marked red. Its dark, cold and damp. I take a glance off my right side and there it was. The biggest steepest hill I had ever seen. My heart just jumped and I kept telling myself that if I fall, hopefully someone would check my Google Latitude status that my phone sends and see me laying somewhere half dead. I did not fall and found everything I was looking for. Started out with the night cache and found some more.
Oh yeah, I don't have a GPS either. I use C:Geo on my android phone. Makes life easier as I don't have to do any preloading or anything and I can log a find while I am at the cache. Wherever I go(so long as I have service), I hit show nearby caches and off I go.
Just hit find 100 with the 3 legged dog cache here in EC. |
