Hi,
I recently began geocaching in the Hudson WI area. I'm always up for meeting new folks to stomp around with.

Welcome to the game. Hudson has a number of great geocaches so you are in a really nice place to start this little obsession. A couple of my area favorites are "George Don't Live Here No More" GC234QY and "Prozac Was Her Defense" GC23M7G . Oh and of course there's always that great little walk you have into the river "Lake St. Croix ~ A Wide Spot in the River" GC23CQB . There are a number of nice events up that way and good folks...You'll run across em sooner rather than later I suspect. |

Welcome to geocaching and the WGA! Nice to see new cachers in this neck of the woods. I think you'll find some nice places to explore in the Hudson area - also check out River Falls and New Richmond when you get the chance. Further east, Eau Claire and Menomonie offer up some great places to cache too.
Da Bloodhound and I will be hosting a geocaching intro session at the Hudson Hot Air Affair on Sat., Feb. 5th (probably around 10am at EP Rock Middle school). If you get a chance stop on by - we'd love to meet you and chat about geocaching.
Have fun! I think you'll find geocaching a very rewarding experience. |

Welcome to the WGA! My plans to visit your area several years ago fell through. Now that I am geocaching, I hope to get there. Check these forums regularly for opportunities to socialize, help with technology, or ways to help on committees and at events. Have fun! |

You can learn a lot from Spike007, his are some of the most original and fun geocaches I have found; you are very lucky to have him in yer neck of the woods. |

Thanks for the nice welcome. I did go out and find 3 caches today. One was the "George Doesn't live here anymore" letterbox, so thanks for the suggestion. Also the invitation to meet at EP Rock is great. I think I have a couple of GK's in there... |
