Maybe we should just take a pontoon. That way we would have room for a cooler full of adult beverages (and your dutch oven, mike). We can take a canoe along in case it gets too shallow. We'll have to draw straws to see who to sacrifice, er, I mean, send off to solve the next stage of the mystery. |

Can you see the both of us in the canoe? Now THAT would be entertainment.
Hrmm...I can picture it now, the canoe down to the gunwales and a dutch oven cooking cobbler in the middle... from a short distance away it would look like two guys and a dutch oven floating across the water, might cause a religious experience for a slightly inebriated boater |
Nope ... I don't think that's gonna happen. |

This certainly was a fun cache to do. As OPS mentioned it's been over 4 years. WOW! Unfortunately, I have prior obligations that do not allow me to attend the festivities Sunday morning. ....not to mention that I will be recovering from Friday and Saturday helping out local Scouts at "Chuckwagon Skills Day" at Camp Phillips. Take pictures and I will live it vicariously through everyone's logs. |

What prior obligations? Church? Not to worry. You can pray while your kayak is tipping you over into the lake!! N2K |

I won't be at home sleeping! I have prior obligations that I need to be at. Maybe I can catch up to everyone since you wouldn't be able to find all of the caches unless OPS does go along to "guide " you. |

OPS will watch you climb 15 feet up a tree for a cache without mentioning that it's not necessary... |

Thanks Chad for letting me use your canoe. I'll be there with Philippe aka "Les Blonds", my brother-in-law from Paris. I appreciate everyone willingness to start at 7am since Philippe flies back to Paris Sunday late afternoon. We wouldn't want him to miss his plane now would we???
Also, does anyone have a couple spare adult size life jackets for us to use? Please email me via geocaching.com. Thank you in advance...
PS: Any recommendation for dress code for this adventure??? RS40 or Mathman can maybe tell us since they've been there b4.
We gonna have a BLAST!!!

I can't, it would be my first go at this one but I won't be attending either unfortunately.
Too bad, hungry man breakfast followed by a black berry mt. dew dump cake and a lunch of macho nacho's all in the dutch oven(s) on the pontoon was sounding pretty good :> |

As far as a dress code, long pants, I definitely DO NOT recomend shorts. An old pair of shoes that you dont mind gettin wet and muddy, and plenty of bug spray. I'm sure the skeeters will be a constant problem. You should also bring plenty of water. It's supposed to be in the mid 80's. C ya all sunday. N2K. |

T-minus 12 hours. I've decided to just bring the kayak. I took the canoe out of the shed today and discovered that my canoe carrier doesn't work with my new truck |
