Looking for a cacher

I have seen that my first cache I ever found is in need of some help and Im trying to find the owner their name is Step-On-Me is anyone know him or here please let me know how to get a hold of them here is there cache page

Can't help you with your search, and it looks like the CO has been inactive for quite some time.

But Hey! You did something! (Made their cache find-worthy and findable again.) This might generate some dissenting discussion, but saving an old cache (2003) that has sentimental value was the right thing to do, in our book. We applaud your efforts!

Thank you. I really dont care what anyone eles thinks I feel its the right thing to do. Just like anyother caches I fix them if I have the thiings to fix them thats just who I am.. Just sayn n all

I'm surprised this one is still around. The former Director of the Sanctuary (Ty Bauman - he just retired in May) wanted nothing to do with geocaching and he sure didn't want anything out there without his permission (which he wasn't giving nor ever gave - we tried). Who knows, a new director, maybe a new policy in the future?? Sure would be nice!

Anyway, I feel it's not the caching community's responsibility to maintain/repair/upkeep caches of absent cachers. I don't care how "historic" or "sentimental" or "old" they may be. Just get rid of them and open up the area for yourself or others. Who knows, it could prevent the prolifration of guard rail or terrace caches that many here seem to loathe.

I just ened up replacing a cache today http://coord.info/GC127XB. I had done this cache a year ago and replaced the log and posted a "Needs Maintenance" on it as the film canister had holes chewed in it and I knew the replacement log wouldn't last long. I didn't replace it back then as I didn't have any replacements with me at the time.

Now I go back again this year with my cousin and find that the contents are once again water loged and the same busted film canister is still there. I would have just given up and posted a "Needs Archived" but this is one of the caches the DNR has published in the paper that they hand out to all of the campers.

Without even looking it up I'm going to guess that the cache was "Frog Bog". In the 4 years that we have been camping at Point Beach this one is in poor condition more often than not.

Yes you would be correct. Too bad the CO has been so unresponsive giving that the DNR is publishing this one in their paper, while other quality caches in the park/forest are not included.

Understandably they probably only print those campground papers every few years so it would be difficult to keep the cache list current.
