This is all I saw just now: "Voting is now closed for the Packers Fan Hall of Fame" Nothing about Round 1. |

I think that will be announced at a dinner on February 14. Can't believe they'd have everyone come all that way just to hear that they lost, if that should be the case. |
Well I think everyone but two already know that they lost. And one of those two should know that he lost, too. Just checked, and the Steele Driving School website has removed the "Vote for Me" headline and links. |
I'm just hoping that the "DNF Rick" wasn't waging some secretive paper ballot campaign all this time. Don't know how he'd do that, but anything is possible. |

If you go to individual comment pages you see the round 1 verbiage.
I chalk it up to gremlins. |

Ballots can be mailed in but not in bulk, only one per envelope. And I'm guessing Best Buy and Goodwill didn't have them in PA. So it would take ground operatives here.
Anything is possible but it really seems that PA Poser's strategy was to mine his captive audience for multiple votes and then utilize an after hours army to enter them, in contrast to having a grass roots ground game. |

I agree, GR.
Can Rick put his feet up now and change out of that green jacket?
Until the 14th, that is. |

Well!!! It may be too early to say for certain, but it really looks good for Team Blick! It looks like the Steele voting machine missed a whole day of operation. Someone was asleep at the switch...
Since the results are unofficial, so is my congrats, but
Congratulations Rick Blick!!!! |

I bet their operation was ready to go, they fired up the bot machine at 3pm, and they were all like "WHAAAAAAAAT? What do you mean it's over???!" |

Wouldn't you have loved to have been a fly-bot on the wall watching that? |

Well, that was fun . . .
We were all surprised by the end of voting. But since we expected voting to be over at 5:30, we got about 3/4 of our votes in. Final day Steele voted about 1000 times, and we were able to get 1400 votes in.
The final 'leg' of my campaign will be to check as many voting stations as I can to make sure all the paper ballots are sent to Green Bay on Monday. I dropped just over 1500 paper ballots myself, and family may have added just as many!? Apparently, I was the only one keeping a tally of the paper I was dropping, but they mentioned about 40 per day. No idea if Steele had any paper campaign, but given the furious assault online, it doesn't appear that paper was in the plan . . . you never know!
My plan was just to stay close and the paper would work, but the family had other ideas. Comment was "we don't even want his moral victory of beating us online" - think he messed with the wrong family? Hope anyway, that the 14th brings good news for the family, since many plan on being in Green Bay with me.
Now, the 8 days of wondering will begin!
Thank you to all my geocaching friends. I certainly will never be able to thank you enough for all the votes and efforts, some of which I may never even know about. The last two days were fast and furious until the voting booth door slammed shut (I didn't even get my vote in!)
