I received notices today for new caches that were published/reviewed by volunteer reviewers from both Germany and England. Can reviewers now review and publish caches from anywhere in the world? GC3FRBK and GC3FT64
The caches are in this area, but apparently the reviewers are several thousand miles away. |

Wow, your notification radius must be huge! How far are the Hacks willing to drive for a FTF? Hopefully one of our reviewers can shed some light on the subject. |

April Fool's joke? Maybe our reviewers altered their profiles somehow just for today. |

Now, after checking our new notifications, we noticed one reviewer was from Maryland and the other from somewhere in the mountains. The profiles looked legit. Is it "reviewer switch day?" |

Wisconsin caches do not have to be reviewed by Wisconsin reviewers. I think it's an April Fool's joke. |

I took it as an April Fools joke, which inspired me to create an April Fools Challenge.

So would this challenge involve finding fool's caches? We have over a hundred here if anyone needs to find caches owned by fools! |

Birdin', we just did one with you called "Pure Foolishness." Guess we were a few days early on that find! |

Looks like the reviewers are having a little fun with us on April Fool's Day. |

And I did it while I was sleeping
Actually, I knew there was a reviewer with the name Crow T Robot already (hence the need for hyphens in my name), but I figured it was like Ghostbusters...our streams wouldn't cross. It's a small world after all.
I saw some of these notifications last night and wondered why a french reviewer was publishing Wisconsin caches. It seems like Groundspeak just sent caches out to random reviewers. I wonder which caches Bec and WisKid published today... |

Saw a few reviewers notes saying they were posted by fake reviewers:
"For GC3FQ7P: StopSpots 60 (Traditional Cache)
Location: Wisconsin, United States
9mi N (14.4km N)
Lindinis published StopSpots 60 (Traditional Cache) at 4/1/2012
Log Date: 4/1/2012
Published by a fake reviewer." |
