waiting for review

sigh waiting for a review on gc.com

In the past they have seemed quite fast I wonder what is taking them so long today.

what are you guys good or bad experiences with this?

I find that they do tend to review around this time of day. Be certain that your cache page has been checked as active or the reviewers will not see it

And remember that they are volunteers and do have lives other than geocaching.

if you read the guidelines it says it may take up to 72 hours

Be sure to check the cache page to see if the reviewer left a note. There may be an issue.

no note still waiting. you said they get posted at simular times each day. got a guess as to when that is....

any one else waiting to get posted or am I all alone?

They get to them when they can...they also read these boards (on occasion).

If you feel an inordinate amount of time has past and your cache still hasn't listed (several days) drop one of the reviewers a note and inquire....politely. Sometimes they need to do a little extra checking on some listings....or gasp, have other more pressing commitments in real life that require dealing with.

Glad your cache is up.

I don't mean to be be rude here but did you remember to enable it? I did that once or twice where I was waiting and waiting and then realized that I had forgotten to check the box to enable the listing.

yes it is enabled. if you look at the recent logs on this website you will see no new caches have been posted IE im not the only one waiting. well if there are any other people that have placed a new hide that is

yeah Im prolly being impatient but this is my first regular size hide so Im really looking forward to it.

Well I know it is hard to wait, very hard! But our WI reviewers are awesome and I'm sure that they'll get to it as soon as they can.

145 feet from a railway? That's borderline publishable if the rail is still active.

Cache is near active railroad tracks. In the United States we generally use a distance of 150 ft (46 m) from tracks. Other local laws may vary.
Cache is problematic due to its proximity to a public structure including and not limited to highway bridges, dams, government buildings, military bases, schools, hospitals, airports and other such locations.
The Review Process outlines steps to take if your geocache has been placed on hold, temporarily disabled or archived.

That's not to say this is a problem...just one possibility...or the reviewers just haven't gotten around to your listing yet. They will contact you if there is a problem.
