I was at Pike Lake state park in Hartford today and the Superintendent Rob Wessberg would like someone to teach a geocaching class this summer. Anyone interested? I would be interested in helping, but I am not good at powerpoint so I would need some help with that. Hopefully, we can help them out, he was surprised to hear about the cache at the top of powder hill and its history. |

Kevin Grant is already working with the park on this and also as far as I know unless things have recently changed Drew Starch is the head superintendant at Pike lake. Kevin has some things set up for June. I think Rob England is helping him. You might want to contact one of them.

Fantastic! I would be happy to lend a hand - I can't the end of July, but keep me posted on when you have it. I would also be interested in placing a cache literally on their doorstep with geocaching info and trail maps inside for the people who want to try caching in the park - some of the already available geocaching flyers and of course a few golf balls and quarters for swag |

Thanks L-Dove that was my Idea was to place a cache right out front of the main check in station with a list of all the caches in the park and maybe other stuff too. i still have to meet with Rob to go over some other stuff he wants too but it is in the works. |
