Silly question. Does anyone know how to build a pocket query by cache owner/placer?? Want to find a certain owners cache. |

This won't give you a PQ, but it will show you the caches of another: go to: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/default.aspx ,
and enter their name into the "Hidden by Username:" box at bottom left, and then punch 'GO'. Good luck! |

Looks like you might be able to download this a page at a time.
Using GSAK this might be a doable option and then you could autocreate a bookmark list, or pull down additional cache details. I haven't actually tried it, but I'm thinking it might work. |

Isn't GSAK great? It works great for downloading caches owned by an individual.
Start with an empty database and click "Geocaching.com access" and then "Get geocaches". Click the "Advanced" tab and fill in the Owned by field.
I just tested it out for caches owned by CJ. Less than a minuted from start to finish. |

Dang - I didn't realize you could do this with GSAK. I was thinking you could download the LOC file with 20 caches at a time. Doing this through GSAK though provides a whole lot more options. Great catch on GSAK TBC. |

You need Version 8 of GSAK. |

This is a menu option near the right edge of the menu bar. |

So I made the 5$ upgrade to v8. This is sooo much better now. The only thing I am wondering is if you can narrow your search field by fav points also??? I know I am asking a lot.hehe |

That feature is coming sometime, but I'm not sure if favorite points is part of the API yet. |

Geocaching.com access menu, Get caches- from drop down menu, then select the Advanced tab. Bottom choice is Fav point value. |
