Janesville Mini-Event

Since the campout, I have been toying with the idea of holding a mini-event in the Janesville area sometime this summer. My current idea it to center it around a mother-cache located in a park near some grills, so that anyone attending can casually eat, chat and cache all day, with planned hours from, say, 9 or 10 am until 6 or 8pm. Would anyone be interested in attending and or helping with such an event?

Although I am considering Janesville as the location, I am also thinking about the Evansville area... a very easy drive from both Janesville and Madison, and probably some other surrounding areas.

We'd love to be there if we aren't busy that day already. Sounds like a great idea!

We have some commitments for the summer, but few. We will do our best to support your efforts any way we can.

As long as we have no conflict with the date (most of our summer is open), we would be happy to help/attend. We're tied up July 10-14th.

I would love to help in the planning, since I have never pulled off an event of my own, and would like to some day. Count me in one way or the other!

Looks like there is at least SOME interest then

I have also been contacted via e-mail by one other person interested in helping out.

The next step would be to decide if we want to meet in the near future for planning purposes, or simply use an online forum.

I'll contact all of you sometime this weekend.

Sounds good to us. Of course it depends on the specific dates but we'd be interested in it.
