We have a race! As of now, there are an even dozen entries ready to head out on the highway, and more on the way.
Go ahead and drop your racers in the picnic event if you haven' t already done so. |

Tried several times today to get name tags made but there is nothing on that page. Maybe I'm too late but I just found out yesterday that I got vacation that day.

You can pick up a tag at the event merchandise table for $4.50. Just bring something to attach it to. |

Sometimes it seems to take forever to find just what you are looking for....I wanted the perfect vehicle for the WGA TB race, and as I looked around the room last night, there it was on the shelf. The Hotdogs have an Official "Hotdogs Off Trail Racer" now that will really represent our team, and found another unofficial one that, I think, has some kind of "warp speed" setting. We're ready for this race....bring it on!!! We have to get them registered at the event, hopefully. |

I'm not sure if warp speed is legal. Checking the rules now... |

Just a few more quick notes on the "guidelines" for the race.
You are allowed to move another racer's travel bug during the race, but PLEASE do not do anything to hinder it's movement. Don't leave it in a high D/T cache, or hang on to it for a long time.
Under normal circumstances, you are not allowed to move your own travel bug. If your bug is "stuck" in a cache for more than 30 days, you may move it to a nearby cache with a similar D/T rating.
I will be monitoring the race, but I won't be activly policing it. If you notice some "funny business", you can bring it to my attention by sending a private message (click the PM button at the bottom of this post).
I will post updated results to the WGA website during the race. I'll try to keep it updated monthly. Otherwise, just go here. |
