Does anyone know anything about this? I have seen it hundreds of time going to GB,but I got off on the frontage road for a cache and got to see it really close. Would love to know anything about it.

more of a clue on where this is would be nice, near by caches, or even a picture of the house, road it is on etc.

Looks like our house. Seriously...only we have done a better job of upkeep. I'm sure we've seen it, but it doesn't jump out at me.

Only cachers (puzzle cachers) would know how to research this find pics and then run down the story behind it. Amazing. A little tear runs down my cheek as I think about tjis. *sigh*

Would you ever want to make a return trip? Would love to walk through with my Camera - your shots were awesome. I wonder what the legal ramifications? Did you sneak in? Where did you park?... I got as far as the driveway with the car running:) Know of any other places like this?

So many stories sitting there waiting to be unearthed and told. Had to be boys in the house at one time, judging by the Tonka trucks. My brothers had that same Jeep one. What an interesting property.

I came across something similar regarding the hospital in Minneapolis where I was born. For quite some time, it sat empty and blighted, and urban explorers went through and....explored. It has since been listed on the National Historic Register (and no, Mr. G, NOT because I was born there!) and renovated into affordable housing. It's won some design awards from that. I'm sure it all has something to do with the birth of a person in late 1953 there. Good karma and all that! Rolling Eyes

That it is, and I'm trying to figure out what would be a great adventure to mark that. A birding friend went to the Grand Canyon and saw her lifer California Condor. That has some appeal, especially since our Arizona plans for next week had to be tanked due to a broken wing.
