Looking for fellow geocachers in Adams County to join in affiliation, and geocaching adventures. |

I think there's only you and I as geocachers in Adams Co area (smiles)
Are you starting up a geocaching 'club' in this area or just trying to find others to adventure with?

I can't beleive it's just you and me. Maybe I need to expand to the dells and rapids, but I'm looking at starting up a 'club' per say. but also for geocaching adventures, and swapping ideas.

I was the solo Adams Co geocacher since 2002.. til you showed up .. there's not many in the Rapids either.. as for the Dells.. there's a few of my caches then Echorangers put in some micros.. so no real "locals" there either..
I use WGA as my club (smiles)and I doubt that you'd want to just see "me" every other Thursday (chuckles).. we're a good group here and I think that gas prices would kill any scheduled type club.. why not just make an event and get some social time in that way.
Hope this helps..

Good point. I think I'll have to recruit some locals into the sport. I litteraly dont know anyone who's already in the sport and am allways looking for a partner in crime. |

Being a cacher in central Wisconsin isn't as tough as it used to be and we've only been in it just over a year now. There are a lot of active teams in the area, you just have to seek them out.
We've cleaned out your area of caches long ago, but if you'd like to ride along on a caching day perhaps we can arrange something. We still have a lot south and east of Portage for example.
And remember. You are not alone . |

Thanks for the great offer. I would love to do a geocaching weekend getaway sometime if anyone is interested.
I'm setting up a cache at one of my favorite local parks, and talking to the park manager they suggested a event such as a softball game and picknick which I thought was a great idea.
We have so many great locations in our area for geocachers I just love any idea that brings outsiders in, or brings the locals out. |
