Thanks for a fun idea Team Rusch!
Three questions:
1) After all 17 game pieces are gone, will the ante cache be removed to preserve its contents till the game is over, or will other cachers still be hunting it and hopefully not removing the ante?
2) From your rules, the 5 'card' caches will be posted on the ante cache's page. WIll only the 17 players be able to see these co-ordinates?
3) Since the 5 card caches will not have their own pages, will we be allowed to log finds for them on the ante cache's page?
Thanks again! |

First let me start by thanking everyone who has signed up to play so far. Now to answer your questions.
1.) After the 17 spots are filled the ante cache will be picked up and kept until the winning hand is picked. I will then make arrangments for the winner to recieve the goodies!
2.) I had planned on just posting the coordinates on the page for all to see. I don't feel that this would be a problem. First, after the spots are filled the cache will be temporarily disabled so it will not show up if someone is looking for a new cache to hunt. Second, the next five caches are actually code caches. Because of this there is nothing that another person could do to mess up the game other than removing the cache all together.
3.) Yes you may log all of the code caches as finds on the ante cache page. I did not want to make seperate pages for all of these caches since they will only exsit for a week after they open.
Any other questions that I can answer or if you have a problem with the way that the game is running so far please let me know. I would like to know what you think. |

RATS!
I was only a few miles from the cache yesterday and had the coords with me but it started pouring out before I could get there.
Looks like I'll have to try again tomorrow |

Eight spots left! Thank you to everyone who has visited our caches and to those of you who voted for us in the cache of the month. |

Does the game not start until all the cards are picked up? Just curious. |

This is just a quick note for any cachers who may still visit this cache. Could you please reply to this message and let us know if you are thinking of joining the game. We are just wondering if there is still an interest. |

The original idea was to wait until all of the spots had been filled. I have posted a question asking for anyone who would still like to play to let me know. After I see if there is any interest in waiting I will decide on a date when the sign up period will close. Anyone who wants to play would have to visit the cache before the time is up. After the "ante" cache closes the first of the code caches will begin. For those of you have have already signed up please let me know if you are ok with this or if you would rather wait until all of the spots are filled.

We're okay with waiting for the remaining cards to be taken. No rush, the first 10? have gone pretty fast, and the ante will be bigger, as will the competition to get the other caches. We vote to wait |

We're fine with it however you want to do it. I didn't mean to sound impatient. I was just curious about how you planned to handle it. Thanks!
