Fourth of July cache event

This is a preliminary announcement letting all geocachers know that Robin and I are planning a 4th of July cache/party/cookout at our place in the Town of Cedarburg. It will be a "bring your own" meat to grill event. We'll have refreshments and other goodies. It will start early afternoon with a dinnertime (late afternoon) cookout. Watch for a posting soon at geocaching.com. There will also be a cache container hidden on our property for you to find. We hope you can make it!

Sounds like a blast! We can't commit 100% yet, but we really want to make it so we are trying to move a couple of things in our schedule around. We'll let you know as we get a bit closer.

It will be great to see everyone again, thanks for putting this on!

All right!!! We are penciling in this one. Will let you know soon when it is for sure. I really enjoyed the day I spent at the campout meeting people, this time my family will get to come. Thank You!

Here's another update about our plans. Ken will be playing in a 4th of July outdoor band concert at the band shell in Cedarburg starting at 8 p.m. If any geocachers want to attend as a group, we could go together and then enjoy the fireworks that start immediately following the concert. If you want to come just for the picnic at our house, that's fine too.

I'm sorry to disappoint those who were already signed up and others who were considering attending, but due to family circumstances we won't be able to host the party on July 4th. My sincere apologies to you all.
