Hey any of you who remember me from two years ago. I came back from Seattle and am at home in Wisconsin now. I sure did miss this great state and by the way you guys are so much cooler that Washington geocachers. The Wisconsin web site rocks and the events are the best. Went to the picnic in 2002 and had my Gps stolen out of the car the night before the event. I showed up without a Gps and the cachecows were so cool they let me use one of theirs. You guys rock. I'm so excited about how many new caches are in my area. I have alot of work to do.

I remember the name and was wondering what ever happened to you. I have been meaning to get up to your area and do some more caches. I am in the process of buying a piece of property in the Chute Pond area, so I will be hitting the area hard in the next year. Image Welcome back!

Welcome back. I remember you and your unfortunate episode when you came down for the picnic.

I remember Cap Cal. The look of the "whipped child" If I had felt any worse for you and your situation, we would have given you our GPS. We are pleased to say that it sounds like you have made a full recovery.

This is good. We can use more caches like your "Wheelchair Accessable" 25 miles north of Shawano. It taught us the value of natural camoflage.

Welcome home Cap Kal. I am sure we will see you at the Great Sub Chase in two weeks.

Welcome home !

Mountain has been becoming a popular area to cache. I know lots of people liked your original caches in the area.

I can't believe how many caches there are in the area now. I remember when I started I had to drive so far from home to hit any caches. Now I'm way behind in this area. It's really great to see.

cap kal,
Are your parents beavers2 by any chance??!! We 'rescued' them from a Lil'Otter Cache in Lakewood last month!!!! I believe they told us that they got into caching by checking on their kids' caches. We Loved the caches that we did when we were up there. It is a lovely area that I have visited since I was a kid (my parents have a place on Wheeler Lake in Lakewood) but have never really "explored" until I started caching. Anyway beavers2 are really awesome, they got stuck in a ditch, ran out of batteries in their GPS and STILL went on to find the cache! It was amazing. They were very nice as well and my kids loved the dog (Chance?).
Hope to run into you next summer on our trip or down here somewhere. Glad to know that WI is the place to be geocaching!

yes they are my parents and i heard all about their adventure. I have been caching for a little over two years but they hadn't gotten into it until just recently. Now we talk about caching all the time. Thanks for helping them out. I don't know what they would have done.

We look forward to meeting you on the trail or at an event. I have a rainbow series in West Bend just waiting for another finder.
