New WGA member in South Range

Hi All,

I recently joined and thought I would introduce myself. I've been geocaching for about 18 months...have about 190 finds, own 6 active geocaches (with another coming), mostly geocache in NW Wis and NE Minn.

For those of you wondering where the metro South Range area is located...South Range is in Douglas County in the extreme NW corner of the state (Superior is the largest city).

Welcome aboard! This is a great place to meet other WI cachers and see what's happening in Wisconsin geocaching circles.

It has been fun doing geocaches in both WI and MN...and checking out the forums for both statewide organizations. I also like to check out things on the big website (geocaching.com). A lot of clever and devious 'cache hiders out there

I've even managed to pick up some limited....very limited html skills working on the cache pages. I have a cache waiting to be approved that only took me about 2 hours to build the page LOL.

Being so close to MN (Colfax area) I, too, read both WGA and MNGCA forums. Glad to have you with us here. Did you attend the MNGCA campout up north last fall? I hope you can join us down here in Chippewa in May. - BnB

Missed the campout last fall...planning on attending an event in Duluth,MN on April 15th...any other northern/western cachers heading for that one??

I haven't looked into to the Chippewa event yet...need to check with SWMBO.
