Hi everyone.
Mike of the Not So Lost Puppies here.
Candi (my wife) and our pup Midnight (black lab/border collie mix) are the rest of the team.

We have been caching for a couple months now, had seen this site a couple times before, and now we are members Image

We have 21 finds so far (as of noon Sept 22,2005) of which 11 of them were in IA during labor day weekend when we went to the IRF. http://www.festint.com/iowarenfest/index.shtml

We will likely add to our out of state numbers as we travel to MO in a few weeks. we are also working on placing a couple caches in the next couple weeks as well.

Hope to make it some of the events. Likely the Port Washington Harvest one.

Mt. Horeb - land of trolls! Spent some time there this summer while camping in Blue Mound. Glad to see you're planning on going to some events - that's the best way to make caching friends!

I agree. The quickest way to get to know people is to attend some events ... then you can place faces and personalities on "geo-names" ... it's easy after that.

Glad to see your coming to my event ... but of course any geo event will work. I purposely kept my hide count somewhat low (18 hides), to allow people some time to "relax" and get to know each other and also enjoy what the city has to offer that day. I hope to get some time to chat with you.

Yes, it certainly is an addiction. but at least it is one that gets one outdoors and moving around. We even have loaded up on cache supplies last weekend at Delany's (ammo boxes and swag). didn't get out of there in time to do more than a quick look at Evermore's before they closed.
