While replying to another thread I thought of a question that may or may not be of interest to others. It's more of a curiosity thing...

Other than the obvious...vehicle keys, ID, pen/pencil...what **ONE** thing do you ALWAYS make sure to have in your pocket while caching?

CB: cell phone
MB: Inhaler

My car keys. I don't trust them to be anywhere else but in my pocket. Also I always carry a knife as you just neverknow when you will run across a wild Snipe in rut.

i don't normally have much in my pocket as i usually carry a small backpack with stuff. if i'm going for a quick find, however, i guess i'm just a pretty obvious person........you know, the kleenex, the gloves, the 5M&M Salad...

Really two things. 1. Compass, 2. Spare batteries. #2 is sometimes left behind if we are on one of our GPS-less quests. #1 is always there.

Let's not start with the pocket pool jokes. This is a family site you know! Image

Oooppps...that did not come out right, did it!?

Ok, keys on left pocket, swiss army knife in the right, and a hand in both. Don't guys always walk around with their hands in their pockets? Don't know what else to do with them? Keep them warm?

However, I do use my hands for poking around in the trees, brush, etc. I.E., looking for the caches! That's why they are 'handy'!
