Bunny FuFu has her own personal TB. If you have not seen it, ask her to 'show it' next time.

Well, that got me to thinking.....

So, I talked to my cousin last night. He's the executor of my estate. When I die I am going to be cremated.

Made one minor request, which he thinks os pretty weird, but then aren't all geocachers?

My ashes will be encased in a lucite block, and a bug number attached to it. Then he will release 'me' into the wild.

I'll be able to keep working on the numbers, even after .....

Do you need any help reaching travel bug status ?

<sheepish grin>

So, is your current account going to be the owner of the bug, or are you going to put this "duty" on Seth?

Have you considered the loss rate on travel bugs? Your remains might end up in the garage of a stranger who suddenly lost an interest in geocaching, or dumped under a bush by a muggle. If you're fine with these possible outcomes, go ahead. If not, you might want to put some more thought into this decision.

You could also wind up on the keychain of a teenager.

Imagine him being on a date at the site of one of Giz's Dead Ends.

Perhaps we can just pass him along at events like that big yellow Jeep.

We could sit around a fire telling stories about our adventures and smoking you? Nope that won’t work then we would have to go see a shrink cuz we would all be screwed up worse than we are already. Oh man I got it we could put you in TB hotel and you could haunt them? You are pretty scary you know. LOL Oh I got it I could get some of that farting stuff and put you in there and every noise we will think of you. Well these are just ideas you know. LOL

Hopefully you wouldn't go missing and end up in the travel bug graveyard. That would defeat the whole purpose of cremation.

Also you don't want to end up in a buried cache such as the one shown on Law & Order. Then you would spend eternity in a "ash hole". Image

Awww! C'mon! Why do I get stuck with him?! Wait a minute... That's one way to get him to do my favorite nasty swamp caches. Do you think he/it would melt Image?

Unless you throw him in a fire, he won't melt. I'm thinking we could make a rule that he could only go in caches of terrain rating 4 or higher. Maybe launch him in Rock Lobster?
