Hey Marc...just saw this posting. It's weird, `cause I was joking about this to my bubby, while visiting old cemetaries on our vacation. Told him that I wanted final resting coords on my cremation ID plate. Hey... when you're dedicated you'rededicated. I'll just leave a pic of my TB on the front too, so everyone knows for sure it's me. ROFLMBO!!

Couldn't you do about 5 TBs, each with ashes, and have them placed all over the world, then they need to be brought back to the Fox Valley area to a mosaleum, of your choice, so you can be "reunited" with yourself? Kinda like a barbie TB I've seen...

Marc, I'm assuming you're also going to have a traditional marker or gravestone in a cemetery somewhere?

If you don't, how are those geocachers that are left supposed to place WCC 411 Here Lies Marc? Image Maybe we should have a whole series highlighting the resting places of famous WI cachers...

Jeremy:

Yes, I already own a traditional plot.

Yes, I have thought about a cache to honor a cacher who might die. Still waiting on someone.... Well, the hard thing will be where to place it. Perhaps the family (or deceased) would be willing to have it under a flower pot, but that remains to be seen.

(If anyone out there is interested, I guess now is the time to tell me!)

Ok, BTW Jeremy, WCC 411 is reserved for you. I mean you placing the cache to honor me! However, if you'd like to pick your own WCC number, that can be arranged as well!

Unfortunately we did lose a fellow WI geocacher last year, April 21, 2005. His geo-name was Painter (real name Dennis) and he had a few caches in the Racine/Kenosha area with a theme of Painter's Art Lesson. I believe he was a friend/coworker of Brian, Buy-the-Tie.

The link to the original WGA announcement:

One of his caches still remains active adopted by Team Deejay: GCJAF5.
