Week 1 Yahoo! Chat Conference - minutes of sorts

Our first Yahoo! Chat Conference went well and we were pretty darn productive. Well…for the first hour!! LOL I think this will go well. We have great people and everyone stays on task pretty darn well. Here is the outcome of Week 1. I would call it the “Minutes” but I was too busy typing in chat to take minutes and we all forgot to set the Archive mode!! LOL Live and learn I guess.

Week 1: Outcome from Yahoo! Chat Conference:

1. It was discussed on whether or not to have these chats weekly. It was loosely voted on and weekly it is. Each week may NOT have a specific purpose, but if an Agenda is needed, it will be noted in the pre-chat invite sent out, prior to the next session.
2. CITO in the N.E.W. Region – it was discussed and voted on that we will be looking at 4 separate CITO’s in this area over the 4 weekends in the month of April.
*a. Area Reps have been chosen. They are as follows:
**1. Linsey (CoastieGirl04), with the help of Bob (benny7210) for the Manitowoc/Two Rivers area
**2. Justin (k0rpl) for the Green Bay area
**3. Pat (deccdog) for the FDL/Oshkosh areas (with side help from AuntieNae to get the Parks Dept moving)
**4. Appleton area needs a Rep, with interest to help out, from Collin (Team Margaritaville)
*b. The Area Reps will be creating the CITO Cache page and organizing the CITO event for their area. ANYONE who would like to help the Reps, please contact them.
*c. It was decided that there will be NO Temp caches at the CITO’s (though it is up to the Rep. or helpers feel they want to for that area.)
*d. It was decided that start times for CITO’s will be 10:00am.
*e. The choice of the weekend day can be voted on a the next Chat session or we can let the Reps of each area decide. (Please post your feelings on that issue in this thread, also!!)
*f. Adopt-a-highway – was not discussed with this CITO issue. We can discuss that at another session.

Ok.. I think I got everything!! ALSO…please feel free to e-mail me with any ideas or issues I can take to the BOD. If you have any issues NOW, please e-mail them ASAP, as our 1st BOD meeting is this weekend and I will be leaving Saturday afternoon to go down. On THAT note: I may not be back in time to oversee this coming weeks Yahoo! Chat conference! Justin and Linsey…you’re in charge LOL I love delegation!! Wink

Oh and PLEASE someone remember to archive the chat. ROFLMAO

Just got back from caching Appleton/Neenah/Menasha after work today. I will take it again this Weekend, as Lindsey I think is going to be busy. Anyway, I will try and remember to archive it.

Since our meeting lasts til 5ish, then grab something to eat and drive back. I expect NOT not to be back in time...especially with the weather kinda icky!!

Seeing as though you are will not be there, I guess we will have to talk about what you will have to do for us as a new board Member. Jim said something about a Brass Pole? Do you know anything about that>???

About Sunday!! We are hearing bad stuff about weather, so I am not 100% sure if I will be gone or not, BUT......I am going to Milwaukee tomorrow and over nite, so we'll see if I get stuck dwon there!! LOL

Anne,

We had a bit of productivity tonight in week #2. I decided to take on the Appleton area as the CITO Champion. So Collin will be helping me out and we have a few good plans in the works.
